September 14
This week Pastor Jay started the series on 1 Corinthians Rules for the Church. He started with an introduction to 1 Corinthians giving us an overview that included the needed information about: The Author, Date, Place, People, Purpose, Background, Occasion, Theme, Key Themes - Unity, Christians should Build up the Church, Sexual Immorality, Living by God’s Commands, and Bodily Resurrection.

This Sunday we went in a slightly different direction. Instead of a message, we shared testimonies of how God has worked in our lives in various ways. It was a powerful time of sharing with one another.

August 30
This Sunday, Pastor Jay wrapped up the mini-series on “How To…”. The final message was about How to Pray. The steps on praying included: Pray to the Father, Come with Thanksgiving, Ask for Things in Accordance with His Will, Ask for Forgiveness, Listen for God’s Response, and Ask in Jesus’ Name.

Pastor Jay continued this mini series on “How To…”. This week’s message was on How to Forgive. The four steps that Pastor Jay brought were: (1) Know That You Have Been Forgiven, (2) Know That Forgiveness is not Impossible, (3) Forgiveness is Demonstrated by God, and (4) Forgiveness Starts with Jesus.
